Foster Personal Relationships With Each Student!
Having one on one time with each student is just as important as effective group communication.
Reach out to students in the digital classroom, this will lessen the chance of them experiencing feelings of being alone or deserted.
Use a blend of communication methods such as personalized responses to students’ discussion posts and emails addressed to only one student. Addressing the student by name is an added personal touch.
At the start of the course share your preferred/best communication methods with the class, sharing personal email or other contact details to students are not recommended.
