
This course will provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals and theoretical foundations of Personal Computer Repairs, networking and Upgrade. Students will develop practical knowledge of the tools and techniques for computer hardware and software maintenance and administration. At the end of the course, the students should have an understanding of the role of a PC repair technician; have been introduced to a range of hardware and software tools for computer administration Students will learn the functionality of hardware and software components as well as suggested best practices in computer maintenance and safety issues. The students, through hands-on activities and labs, will learn to assemble and configure a computer, install operating systems and software, network and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
